What
can I expect from an osteopathic consultation?
Initially we will take a full case history to obtain information
about your specific complaint and your medical history. This
gives us a clear picture of factors that may be involved in
your complaint.
Then we will examine you (and perform tests if indicated )
to find the cause of your pain.
Treatment will then follow with the aim of resolving the cause
of your discomfort. We may also give you advice (exercises/nutritional/self-help)
to help with your recovery. The initial consultation usually
takes 45min – 1hr.
